Yuka Okkotsu (
Appearance
Yuka is a slender teenage girl with black hair and fair skin. Her large blue eyes, a striking feature, mirror the shape and size of her grandfather's. Her hair cascades past her neck, framed by two thin bangs on each side of her face. Her Jujutsu High uniform, also similar to her grandfather's but sleeveless, forms a dress-like silhouette with a belt cinching her waist. Underneath it, she wears a black bodysuit extending from her mid-neck to her legs, featuring white lines around the biceps and mid-shin, as well thumb holes in the sleeves. Yuka also sports a watch-like terminal device on her wrist that can project a digital screen.
Personality
Yuka is usually a calm and kind person but she can be hot-headed, often fueled by a deep-seated rivalry with her brother. This sibling animosity originated from a significant family event: the Gojo clan’s decision to entrust Yuta's ring to Tsurugi, despite Yuka initially being the chosen recipient by Yuta himself. Yuka had a close bond with her grandfather, who she grew up with, which likely amplified her feelings of betrayal and fueled her competitive spirit.

Her rivalry with Tsurugi often takes precedence, even over new introductions, as seen when she prioritized bickering with him upon meeting Maru. Despite her outwardly abrasive demeanor around Tsurugi, Yuka is normally polite, which Maru was able to discern. He got her to drop the pretense of not caring about her brother’s well-being, especially after she flippantly boasted about not wanting to rescue him. While Yuka initially maintained her facade of indifference, claiming she would fight Tsurugi instead of saving him, her actions ultimately revealed her true concern. After rescuing him from danger, she held true to her word and challenged him to a fight, culminating in a tearful loss for Yuka. This emotional release seemingly cleared the air, allowing them to finally work together effectively.
Yuka suffers from a malignant brain tumor and only has six months left to live. Despite this, she genuinely enjoys the time that she has left and still works diligently at achieving her lifelong goal. She hates the prospect of being pitied and keeps her condition a secret from her brother. As she points out in her conversation with Cross, she refuses to spend her last few months wallowing in hatred and self-pity. She is angry about the inherent unfairness of her situation but, in sharp contrast to Cross, she thinks it's stupid to resent those who are "better off" than her.

Trivia
- Yuka's surname contains the kanji for "the second of the ten Celestial stems" (乙 otsu?) and the Kan-on reading for "skeleton, bone" (骨 kotsu?); the つ ("tsu"?) from the first kanji is not included, instead replaced by the second. Her given name has the Kan-on reading for "anxiety, worry, grief" (憂 yū?) and "flower" (花 ka?).
