Yuji Itadori, Maki Zenin & Hana Kurusu vs. Sukuna is a battle fought by Tokyo Jujutsu High students, Yuji Itadori and Maki Zenin, alongside Culling Game player Hana Kurusu against the special grade incarnated sorcerer, Sukuna. It occurred when Sukuna possessed Megumi's body and in response, Yuji, Maki, and Hana attempted to stop him from escaping.
Prologue
On the top of a building in the Tokyo No. 1 Colony, Megumi gives his sister Tsumiki enough points to exit the Culling Game.

Instead of leaving the game, "Tsumiki" adds a rule that allows players to enter and exit colonies freely. She is an imposter who reveals herself as Yorozu, an incarnated sorcerer from the past who is familiar with Sukuna. Megumi is horrified to learn his sister isn't the awakened type of player. Yorozu only impersonated Tsumiki to use the points for fighting Sukuna in the location of her choosing.
Yorozu constructs wings and flies off while Megumi is too stunned to respond. Before Yuji and Hana Kurusu can properly pursue her, Sukuna chants "Enchain". This keyword activates a binding vow Sukuna entered with Yuji which was wiped from the latter's memory. It gives Sukuna control of Yuji's body for one minute under the condition that he doesn't hurt anyone.
Sukuna forces Hana unconscious without injuring her while revealing the aforementioned condition to Megumi. He prefaces his next move by calling it a gamble and removes one of his fingers. Megumi attempts to summon Mahoraga but Sukuna interrupts his hand signs and then forces him to swallow the finger. This incarnates Sukuna into Megumi's body as a vessel and no longer dwells within Yuji. Sukuna waited until Megumi's will was crushed in order to ensure he was a controllable vessel rather than a cage like Yuji.[1]
Battle
Sukuna delivers a devistating blow to Yuji.
Yuji calls out his friend's name with a look of desperation and Sukuna responds with a powerful gut punch that sends him flying off the rooftop clean through a skyscraper. Yuji crashes through the tops of several other buildings before eventually stops and lays incapacitated. Maki and Fumihiko Takaba notice the commotion nearby and head toward it. Sukuna sees them coming and summons Nue, appearing widely different from Megumi's shadow. Nue fires haphazard bolts of electricity down to the ground from the top of a tall building at Maki and Takaba.

At the same time, Hana surprise attacks Sukuna from above, hitting him with the all-purifying light of the Angel's cursed technique. Hana doesn't want to hurt Megumi, but the Angel is willing to take the risk of purging Sukuna before he achieves a stronger hold. She casts a much grander light down from the sky, activating Jacob's Ladder at maximum cursed energy output. This conjures a magic circle array in the sky that creates a massive pillar of light that descends down upon Sukuna. Bathed in its radiance, Sukuna's cursed energy is poured vigorously out of his vessel.
Hana keeps up the pressure after the technique finishes with more cross-shape projectiles that stab into Sukuna's back as he falls. Hana desperately cries for Sukuna to return Megumi to her when suddenly his personality changes. "Megumi" claims to remember Hana and asks her to embrace him. Hana succumbs to her emotions and goes to him against numerous warnings from the Angel. Hana hugs Megumi and prepares to confess her feelings when his head suddenly grows to monstrous proportions and bites her arm off.[2][3] Sukuna calls Hana a foolish human and throws her through a railing and off the side of the building.
"Foolish human."
Yuji, who has regained consciousness, watches Hana plummet to the ground. He jumps onto a rooftop closer to Sukuna's location and gets his attention. Then Yuji leaps right at Sukuna while screaming his name with intense rage. Their clash breaks the building apart and they both crash to the ground. Yuji kicks a large piece of the building at Sukuna, surprising him with an increased level of superhuman strength. The mass of the debris sends Sukuna back and Yuji circles around with a metal street sign to strike him from behind. Sukuna avoids the attack and Yuji angrily demands to know why curses like him always have to spread misery.

Sukuna cuts Yuji across the shoulder with Dismantle and the injury forces him to the ground. Sukuna asks why people who are so weak desperately cling to life when they should accept whatever suffering it gives them. Enraged, Yuji challenges Sukuna to accept his suffering and walks toward him. Sukuna riddles Yuji with numerous slashes that cut him all over his body. However, to Sukuna's surprise, every single cut is shallow. He can't believe Yuji is that tough and realizes that his low cursed energy output is the cause. Yuji walks through all the slashes and punches Sukuna across the face with a powerful right hook.[4]
Sukuna curses Megumi for interfering, as the vessel is fighting back from within. Sukuna doesn't reel for very long from the hit and casually takes a moment to focus on examining himself. He still possesses control over the flesh, but Megumi is suppressing his cursed energy to as much as a tenth of its usual output. Sukuna remains confident he can slaughter Yuji regardless but Maki surprises him when she suddenly arrives on the scene. He's impressed Nue's attack didn't have any effect on Maki. She asks to be brought up to speed and Yuji simply tells her to kill Sukuna because he won't die.

The trio of fighters leap into action and engage each other at high speeds. Sukuna deflects and parries simultaneous attacks from Maki and Yuji on each side of him. He deflects a kick from Maki his left hand and punches Yuji in the face with his right. Then Sukuna throws a right jab at Maki, but she catches it, twists his arm, and pulls Sukuna's face into two quick strikes. She finishes her combination of attacks with a two-handed palm strike that sends Sukuna flying through a railing. Yuji wraps the railing around Sukuna and Maki kicks him into a wall with enough force to collapse it.

As Sukuna gets back up virtually unharmed, Maki wonders if he can heal from wounds from the Split Soul Katana. She gets assurance from Yuji that their goal is to stop Sukuna even if it means killing him and then tells him that things are going to speed up from this point on. The trio re-engages at even faster speeds around the abandoned streets of Tokyo. Yuji throws a feint that gets Sukuna off balance and then Maki grabs Yuji and swings him into Sukuna. While being swung through the air, Yuji lands a strong right straight to Sukuna's ribs. Yuji and Maki follow up with rapid-fire punches, but Sukuna continues to parry and deflect them all.
Uraume blasts the entire area with ice.
Yuji throws a kick from one side and Maki throws an uppercut from the other. Sukuna drops down and places his hand on the ground at the same time as their attacks. He believes Megumi's interference is at its greatest when cursed techniques are targetting his allies. In order to circumvent this, Sukuna uses Cleave: Spiderweb on the ground to destroy his opponent's footing. This throws Maki and Yuji off balance the street collapses beneath them. Sukuna capitalizes by landing a powerful right hook to Maki's face, but she quickly shakes it off, entertaining the King of Curses. The sorcerers continue to dash and fight across the battlefield until both sides stop.
Sukuna notices someone else has arrived, quickly followed by Yuji and Maki turning to notice them as well. Uraume attacks with Ice Formation: Frost Calm at maximum cursed energy output. They freeze the entire area in front of Sukuna with a massive wave of ice.[5]
Aftermath
Yuji can only watch in horror as Sukuna escapes with Megumi's body.
Uraume apologizes for interfering in the battle, but Sukuna quickly dismisses it. Uraume aimed most of Frost Calm at Maki as to not freeze Yuji too deeply just in case. Sukuna clarifies that Yuji is meaningless to him now but adds that focusing the attack on Maki was still the right decision. Sukuna summons Nue so they can leave and polish up his vessel. He asks Uraume to prepare the "Bath" and they reveal that it's already ready.
Yuji breaks out of the ice in a last-ditch effort to stop Sukuna. Nue takes off with Sukuna and Uraume while all Yuji can do is watch. Uraume asks Sukuna if he wants them to kill Yuji, but he declines. Instead, he decides to mock the desperate look of horror on Yuji's face. Sukuna and Uraume laugh at Yuji as Nue carries them away.[6]
