Wind Scythe (鎌 (かま) 異 (い) 断 (たち) , Kamaitachi^?) is a Tool Manipulation extension technique used by Momo Nishimiya.

Description

This technique produces a vacuum blade of cursed energy wind that is fired from the user's weapon using Tool Manipulation.

The Wind Scythe begins with the user creating friction between their flying broom and the ground. A projectile is fired directly from the user's weapon after immediately creating enough friction.

The vacuum blade is cursed energy wind in the shape of a crescent, giving the technique its name. It moves through the air at great speed and is meant to damage the target with its cutting power.

Usage

Momo Nishimiya first showcased her ability to use Wind Scythe in a serious battle against the curse users Pseudo-Geto and Uraume. After surveying most of the battle from above using her flying broom, Momo engaged the curse users directly after many of her allies were incapacitated.

Momo used her flying broom to get low to the ground and brushed the bristled end up against the ground to create a trail of friction and cursed energy. Then she maneuvered around to launch Wind Scythe at her adversaries.

Uraume blocked Wind Scythe with little effort. Just their bare hands reinforced by cursed energy was enough to swat it aside. This annoyed Momo, who believed her attack should've hurt no matter what.
