Transfigured Humans (
Description
Creation Process

Mahito transfiguring Junpei Yoshino.
Transfigured humans are created through the use of the Idle Transfiguration cursed technique, which was the innate technique of the special grade cursed spirit Mahito. By placing his hand on a human and then activating his technique, Mahito can freely transfigure their soul into any shape he desires. Since the shape of the body is dependent on the shape of the soul, it is also transformed. The result of this transformation is usually a grotesque creature that bears almost no resemblance to the human it was created from, though this is likely intentional by Mahito.
Characteristics

The largest transfigured human Mahito can create.
Despite appearing like cursed spirits, transfigured humans still possess human bodies, and thus can be perceived and touched by non-sorcerers, as well as being photographed on phones or other electronic devices.[1] Additionally, transfigured humans can have their brain stems modified to give them cursed energy, allowing them to further mimic cursed spirits.[2]

Mahito regurgitating small transfigured humans.
Transfigured humans can come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. The largest transfigured human Mahito can create is more than twice as tall as himself and appears extremely obese, while the smallest is roughly the size of Junpei Yoshino's palm.[3] Mahito keeps a stockpile of small transfigured humans within his body by swallowing them and regurgitating them when needed.[4]
Once transfigured, a human will eventually die.[5] Not even reverse cursed technique can heal them or return them to their original form.[6][7] Furthermore, a human is entirely under Mahito's control once transfigured, unconditionally obeying his commands. However, the "sweat" of the human's soul "trickles out" every now and then, causing a transfigured human to partially regain consciousness and cry, plead for help, or ask for death.[8]
Abilities and Powers
With their monstrous features and strength, transfigured humans can easily kill an average non-sorcerer human. Most transfigured humans, if graded according to the grading system, would be around the strength of grade 3 to weaker grade 2 cursed spirits.[9]

The enhanced strength of a Polymorphic Soul Isomer.
Soul Multiplicity can be used to combine souls with weak rejection to form one transfigured human, known as a Polymorphic Soul Isomer. These transfigured humans possess far greater strength than other transfigured humans, enough to launch a grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer through a building with one punch, and are less likely to die by themselves.[10] The explosive power behind their strikes comes from the sacrifice of multiple souls when creating them. As a trade-off for its high strength, a Polymorphic Soul Isomer has very low durability and can be killed with a single direct hit with cursed energy.[11]
