Shiranui-Gata (不知火 (しらぬい) 型 (がた) , Shiranuigata^?) is a taijutsu technique used by Maki Zenin.

Description

Shiranui-Gata is a stance normally assumed by sumo wrestlers during the opening ceremony. The user assumes the stance by squatting with their head forward and arms extended outward in both directions.

Usage

Maki attempted to use this technique to stop Naoya Zenin's supersonic movements. She provoked her opponent to come at her head-on, willing to withstand his attack even if it broke her ribs. However, Naoya saw through her tactics and decided not charge her straight on.
