Kinji Hakari vs. Uraume is a battle fought between the Feverish Gambler, Kinji Hakari, and the Frozen Star, Uraume. It occurs in Makyo Shinjuku immediately following the Battle of the Strongest.
Prologue

Hakari traps Uraume inside his domain.
Hajime Kashimo allies himself with the Jujutsu High sorcerers for his opportunity to fight Sukuna. He reluctantly agrees to go out after Satoru Gojo, and when Gojo falls, the God of Lightning springs into action.[1][2][3]
Before Kashimo can reach Sukuna, Uraume descends from the sky. Keeping up his end of the deal they made in the Tokyo No. 2 Colony, Hakari keeps Uraume off of Kashimo. Hakari traps Uraume inside his domain and the mass of ice accompanying Sukuna's ally falls to him, delivering Kamutoke to the King of Curses.[4]
Hakari's domain ends at the same time Kashimo's duel with Sukuna does. Once the fight concludes with Kashimo's death, Hakari's domain dispels after he hit the jackpot at the same time Hiromi Higuruma and Yuji Itadori arrive to battle Sukuna.[5] Leaving the King of Curses to them, Hakari takes his fight with Uraume elsewhere in Shinjuku.
Battle

Uraume shatters Hakari's frozen arm.
Descending over a residential area, Uraume notices that Hakari deliberately separated them from Sukuna. Landing on a building, Uraume uses Frost Calm, blowing supercooled cursed energy that instantly freezes Hakari's right arm into a large block of ice. Uraume quickly capitalizes, leaping up and punching the ice, shattering his opponent's arm. Confident they've won, Uraume declares the fight over as they form another attack with their Ice Formation technique. However, Hakari instantly regenerates his right arm and grabs Uraume by the face. This surprises Uraume as they're slammed down through a multi-story apartment building.[6]

Hakari unleashes fierce counterattacks using his regeneration speed.
Uraume quickly recovers, sliding out of the debris as they form a large spiked icicle with their sorcery. They're impressed by Hakari's regenerative speed via reverse cursed technique, which Uraume believes exceeds the speed of even Sukuna and Gojo. Uraume launches the spear of ice and it slashes away the flesh of Hakari's lower right abdomen. Hakari charges forward without slowing down despite taking the hit. He regenerates and throws a right kick that Uraume catches and freezes over. Unperturbed, Hakari doesn't hesitate to break off his own leg and quickly regenerate it, landing a powerful dropkick with both feet to Uraume's face that sends them crashing through several buildings.[7]
When Hakari catches up to Uraume, he finds them kneeling on the ground and freezing it. Uraume says that the third-year student is different from other modern sorcerers who try to retain their humanity by not destroying everything they can. Uraume finds that someone's humanity, their fear of loneliness, is a weakness. They freeze the water in the underground pipes to make them burst, spewing multiple gysers of water from the ground to fuel Uraume's power. They declare Hakari is different and by not considering him to be human anymore, Uraume can crush Hakari with their full power. Hakari responds by referencing a conversation he had with Yuta Okkotsu, Hakari expresses his respect for his junior and tells Uraume that his fever is running hot so he'll need something to cool him down.[8]

"I'll crush you with everything I have."
Sometime later, the fierce battle between Hakari and Uraume resulted in a large part of Shinjuku being frozen over. Hakari, now shirtless and frostbitten over a few parts of his body, notices that Sukuna's cursed energy is withering away. As such, he proudly predicts that his allies will be victorious. Uraume finds Hakari's optimism laughable, explaining that Sukuna's cursed energy is wavering out of boredom and that he has yet to fight seriously.[9] When Sukuna unleashes his Divine Flame and the explosion is sensed by the two sorcerers, Uraume smugly declares that it was their sides' victory.[10]

Uraume joins their master Sukuna in death.
At the conclusion of the raid, Hakari and Uraume both sense Sukuna's demise. With the conflict over, Uraume decides there's no purpose in further fighting. Uraume insists that Sukuna only lost because of his newfound weaknesses as an incarnated sorcerer and nothing else. They believe the jujutsu sorcerers were simply lucky for being born a thousand years late. As a proud gambler, Hakari takes Uraume's statement as a compliment. Uraume expresses some amusement as they freeze themself over, snapping their neck before crumbling into numerous ice shards.[11]
Aftermath
Following the showdown in Shinjuku, the victorious sorcerers meet to discuss strategies they implored to achieve a more efficient victory. Hakari regrets not getting to fight Sukuna directly as he couldn't defeat Uraume, admitting that the Frozen Star was a tough opponent.[12]
