Hajime Kashimo vs. Sukuna is a battle between the God of Lightning, Hajime Kashimo, and the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna. It occurs directly after the Battle of the Strongest in Makyo Shinjuku.
Prologue

The God of Lightning launches onto the battlefield after Gojo's defeat.
Hajime Kashimo arrives in the decimated city of Shinjuku immediately after Satoru Gojo is defeated.[1] He leaps onto the battlefield from two-hundred and three meters above Sukuna. However, above even Kashimo is Uraume, descending from the sky atop a massive block of ice.
As per their agreement, Hakari helps Kashimo fight Sukuna. Doing so by keeping Uraume out of it and trapping them inside his domain. The ice continues to fall and Sukuna breaks the ice apart to retrieve the cursed tool Kamutoke from inside it. Kashimo lands on the ground surprised that Uraume's theatrics were just to deliver the weapon. Kamutoke was one of Sukuna's cursed tools from the Heian Era and Yorozu created a replica of it using her construction technique and a binding vow.[2]
Battle

Technique Release: Mythical Beast Amber!
Sukuna attacks first, activating Kamutoke's ability to generate a lightning bolt that strikes Kashimo from the sky. However, the attack is nullified by Kashimo's heavy resistance to electricity. Before he fights back, Kashimo asks Sukuna if he earned the title of the strongest or if he was born with it. He adds that he's been unable to connect with others all his life because they're as feeble as the dirt beneath his feet. Kashimo wants to know if strength is solitude or if the search for power is something the strongest come to terms with alone. Amused, Sukuna calls Kashimo greedy and accepts the burden of teaching the rogue warrior about strength.

Kashimo pummels Sukuna using his increased speed.
Kashimo dashes and leaps at Sukuna, swinging his nyoi staff downward at him. Sukuna deflects it with Kamutoke and jumps back to avoid the follow-up swings from his opponent. Kashimo drops his staff and activates his innate technique, Mythical Beast Amber. Sukuna is taken off guard by Kashimo's increase in speed and suffers a barrage of punches across his face. Sukuna jumps back to gain some distance but Kashimo changes the composition of his mouth and screams, unleashing a thunderous boom. The sonic blast hits Sukuna but he leaps out of the way to avoid the full brunt of the attack, calling it too noisy.
Mystical Beast Amber transforms Kashimo's body so he can wield any phenomenon created by electricity. Kashimo blitzes Sukuna and tries to unleash a point-blank blast of electricity to his face. Sukuna leaps to the side to avoid it but Kashimo follows up with another roar that forces Sukuna to shield his face. Kashimo capitalizes with a powerful right hook that sends Sukuna flying before finishing his combo with his signature attack, a bolt of lightning that can't be avoided. This forces Sukuna to heal himself with the one tactic he had been intentionally suspending, transforming into his true form through the means of incarnation.[3]

Sukuna fully incarnates and uses his true form to overpower Kashimo.
Using x-ray vision, Kashimo analyzes Sukuna's true form and concludes that it's utter perfection, the perfect body for a sorcerer. Sukuna holds Kamutoke in his mouth and uses all four of his arms to engage Kashimo in hand-to-hand combat. Kashimo attempts to fire off a blast of electricity with his right hand but Sukuna parries it with his top left arm while counterattacking with both right arms. Kashimo blocks it using his free hand and his left knee but Sukuna punches through his defense and knocks him back. Kashimo charges an electric blast using both hands and unleashes the attack while he's still flying back. Sukuna counters by using his extra mouth to chant the activation incantation for his cursed technique. He directs the attack with his hand and tells Kashimo to avoid what's coming, unleashing a world-splitting Dismantle.

Kashimo meets his end at the hand of Sukuna's overwhelming strength.
Kashimo's attack is swallowed by the massive flying slash. He avoids major damage thanks to Sukuna's warning but he loses part of his right hand and quickly recognizes this is the same attack that killed Satoru Gojo. Sukuna tells Kashimo about Yorozu and claims her speeches about connecting with others with love would've been better suited for Gojo and Kashimo.
While still discussing the meaning of the "strongest", Sukuna activates Kamutoke again, this time using the lightning bolts as a diversion to get behind his opponent. Kashimo quickly turns to face Sukuna but the King of Curses uses his two top arms to immobilize Kashimo's wrists. He barrages Kashimo's mid-section with punches from his lower arms, slams him into the ground using the grip on his arms, and then throws him away. Kashimo tries to counterattack while flying back back but he's too late. A massive net of Dismantle is already closing in to end his life.[4]
Aftermath

Sukuna and Kashimo conclude their conversation about strength.
In a post-mortem fantasy, Sukuna speaks to Kashimo to conclude their conversation about strength. He explains to Kashimo that those who challenged him in the past were never cursing him. They wanted the recognition of the strongest and it's only proper for the strongest to respond to that love in kind. Sukuna believes Gojo and Kashimo are greedy because they lament the solitude all the same. Kashimo asks Sukuna if he ever becomes malcontent but the King of Curses explains that all humans are as unique as they are fleeting. This makes devouring them the perfect pass time for Sukuna until his end.
Following Kashimo's defeat, Hakari's domain barrier shatters, releasing him and Uraume. At the same time, Yuji Itadori and Hiromi Higuruma descend from the sky to face Sukuna next. Unimpressed with Yuji, Sukuna asks what the boy expects to accomplish in this battle.[5]
