Plot Details
At 11:28 PM, Panda, in his Gorilla Mode, searches for Atsuya Kusakabe in the wreckage in front of the Shibuya Stream caused by Jogo's Maximum: Meteor. Noticing the grip of Kusakabe's katana, Panda locates the grade 1 sorcerer and helps free him from the rubble. Having just witnessed Sukuna's rampage, Kusakabe tells Panda that he will support Yuji's execution, despite the latter's attempt to explain.
A few minutes later, at 10:36 PM in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Mei Mei shares a bed with Ui Ui in a hotel room. She apologizes for exhausting him, and teases him about his embarrassment. Suddenly, Mei Mei receives a phone call, causing her to leave the bed and answer it. She reveals to the person calling her that she was almost killed by Pseudo-Geto and had to escape with Ui Ui's cursed technique. Mei Mei then advises them to sell all their Japanese stock and Tokyo real estate immediately, having already exchanged all her yen, as she expects the collapse of Japan's economy to cause a negative effect on other major developed nations. As the person on the other end thanks her, Mei Mei expresses that she looks forward to future business cooperation in exchange for the information.
Around the same time Panda located Kusakabe, on BF3 of the Shibuya Station, Choso wakes up crying after having another imaginary flashback of Yuji eating with his other brothers. Resolving to ascertain Yuji's identity and his own, Choso gets up and moves out.
At 11:36 PM in the present, Pseudo-Geto asks Mahito if he needs saving. Recognizing Geto's name, Yuji acts quickly and rushes towards the curse user while demanding he return Satoru Gojo. Pseudo-Geto nonchalantly explains that people of the mid-Edo era believed the catfish was associated with earthquakes, and a particularly giant catfish moving underground was the cause of earthquakes. As he explains this, he summons a catfish-like cursed spirit that swims into the ground.
Suddenly, a gigantic hole that is the curse's mouth opens up underneath Yuji, causing him to lose his balance as he falls into the hole, only to fall on the ground instead as if the hole never existed. Seeing Yuji bewildered, Pseudo-Geto asks if he thought he was falling, and explains that in the eyes of others, he simply tripped over. He further explains that Cursed Spirit Manipulation's advantage lies in the endless tactics it provides its user due to their ability to command countless cursed spirits of semi-grade 1 and higher. Even if the opponent adjusts to a cursed spirit's cursed technique or destroys the curse itself, the user can always summon a new one or summon multiple curses at once.
Yuji tries to attack Pseudo-Geto again, this time countering the catfish curse by jumping in the air. As he charges cursed energy in his fist, Pseudo-Geto unleashes a swarm of centipede curses that pushes Yuji back and ensnares him. Once ensnared, the catfish curse opens its mouth once again, causing Yuji to fall. As the centipede curses disperse and return to Pseudo-Geto, the curse user expresses his belief that Suguru Geto would have defeated Yuta Okkotsu during the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons had he not divided his forces. Despite being heavily injured, Yuji insistently demands Satoru back, leading Pseudo-Geto to laugh in response and admit that Sukuna's vessel is indeed tough.
Mahito suddenly lunges at Pseudo-Geto from behind, intending to transfigure him with Idle Transfiguration. However, the curse user anticipated this and effortlessly dodged the attack. With Pseudo-Geto's hand over him and poised to absorb him, Mahito reveals that he always knew of Pseudo-Geto's true plans, having been born from humans. Mahito is then excruciatingly transformed into an orb despite his desperate attempts to free himself. Holding the black orb that contained Mahito, Pseudo-Geto continues his discussion with Yuji about the future of the jujutsu world.
Pseudo-Geto begins informing Yuji about Maximum Techniques, which are an innate technique's most powerful technique outside of Domain Expansion, and Cursed Spirit Manipulation's Maximum: Uzumaki combines cursed spirits in the user's possession into a blast of ultra-dense cursed energy. As he is explaining, Pseudo-Geto suddenly begins to laugh, leading Yuji to angrily ask why he is laughing. Pseudo-Geto apologizes and explains that he found it funny that he started acting like Suguru.
Resuming his explanation, Pseudo-Geto explains that while Uzumaki is a powerful technique, he initially had little interest in it since it negated Cursed Spirit Manipulation's greatest advantage, the diversity of attacks at the user's disposal. As a result, he only used it to recycle low-grade curses until he discovered its true potential, which is the ability to extract the cursed techniques of semi-grade 1 and higher cursed spirits. Finishing his explanation, Pseudo-Geto swallows the orb containing Mahito, adding the special grade to his arsenal of curses.
Looking up, the curse user calls Yuji foolish for thinking he wouldn't notice Momo Nishimiya floating above him on her broom. Flaring up the light in a lantern attached to her broom, Momo signals to her allies the location of their enemy. Noritoshi Kamo notices the signal and launches a volley of cursed energy-infused arrows that rain down on Pseudo-Geto, who easily dodges them and quickly notices Mai Zenin from afar before using a cursed spirit to block a bullet shot by her sniper rifle. Pseudo-Geto commends Mai's decision of using conventional weaponry against sorcerers.
Kasumi Miwa suddenly appears behind Pseudo-Geto, recalling her past and her decision to become a jujutsu sorcerer because she didn't want to die. Activating Simple Domain, Kasumi grips her katana and vows to never swing a katana again as she uses Batto Sword Drawing and swings her sword at Pseudo-Geto. However, Pseudo-Geto nonchalantly catches and shatters the blade with his bare hands before activating Maximum: Uzumaki. As the cursed spirits fuse behind Pseudo-Geto, Yuji yells for him to stop while Momo moves to save Kasumi. The blast of condensed cursed energy seemingly hits Miwa and obliterates a massive portion of the ground around her.
As the dust settles, Pseudo-Geto praises the experience and use of New Shadow Style by Kasumi's rescuer, who is revealed to be Atsuya Kusakabe. Utahime Iori and Momo, who arrived to save Kasumi and are now next to her, begin to argue about why the former is on the battlefield. Meanwhile, Panda and Noritoshi arrive and check on Yuji, relieved to see that he is back in control of his body. Noritoshi asks if the curse user has the Prison Realm holding Satoru Gojo, which Panda believes is likely the case. However, Panda mentions that while he recognizes the curse user's appearance as Suguru Geto, he does not know who is inside the body.
Suddenly, Choso also arrives on the battlefield, surprising Yuji. Pseudo-Geto welcomes him, but Choso finally recognizes the curse user as Noritoshi Kamo, the man who tormented his mother and mixed in his blood to create the Cursed Womb: Death Paintings, thus becoming his third parent aside from his mother and the cursed spirit that impregnated her. In a fit of rage, Choso shouts out the true identity of the man inhabiting Suguru's body, confusing Panda, Yuji and the current Noritoshi but alarming Kusakabe and Utahime. Upon inquiry from Momo, Utahime reveals that the Noritoshi Kamo Choso is referring to is the stain of the Kamo Clan and "the most evil sorcerer in history" who existed over 150 years ago.
Kusakabe admits that Pseudo-Geto's true identity makes sense considering his extraordinary usage of barrier techniques and cursed objects, and his ability to switch physical bodies, making him fitting as the mastermind. Responding to Choso, Pseudo-Geto reveals that Noritoshi Kamo is simply one of his many names, uncaring of the incarnated cursed object's rage. Enraged that Pseudo-Geto manipulated him into almost killing his younger brother Yuji, Choso marches up to Pseudo-Geto, only for Uraume to suddenly appear and stop him. Despite the curse user's orders, Choso refuses to step aside and reiterates that he is Yuji's older brother.
As a side effect of his Blood Manipulation, Choso can sense any anomalies that occur to his younger brothers no matter the distance. This is what allowed him to sense the deaths of Eso and Kechizu, as death is the final and biggest anomaly for a living creature. When he was about to finish off Yuji after their earlier fight, Choso sensed his death, leading him to realize that Yuji is his blood-related younger brother, which is highly possible since "Noritoshi Kamo" prolonged his life by swapping bodies. Intent on fulfilling his duty as an older brother, Choso releases his blood and begins compressing it in his hands, the sheer pressure of which surprises Noritoshi Kamo, a fellow Blood Manipulation user.
In the blink of an eye, Choso fires Piercing Blood at Uraume, surprising them with its speed as they barely react in time to block it. Firing a second beam, Choso swings the stream of blood at Pseudo-Geto, who jumps away from the attack. Continuing the assault, Choso uses his blood to cut a pillar in the ground below Pseudo-Geto and eject it up, launching the curse user into the air. Leaping onto the stone pillar, Choso slices apart the top section with his blood, destroying Pseudo-Geto's footing.
As Pseudo-Geto falls down, Choso fires another Piercing Blood at him, only to miss as a flying manta ray-like curse swoops in to rescue the ancient curse user. Flying through the air, the cursed spirit's speed allows it to evade Choso's subsequent blood beams, much to his frustration. Pseudo-Geto summons a giant gate-like curse to crush Choso, only for the Death Painting to cut it in half with Piercing Blood before controlling the blood he fired into the air earlier to rain down on Pseudo-Geto. Flying through the rain of blood, Pseudo-Geto crashes the manta ray curse near Choso in order to kick up a cloud of debris that obscures his vision, allowing him to sneak up behind the latter and punch him away. Following up his attack, Pseudo-Geto summons a large humanoid curse that pushes Choso off the pillar.
Controlling the blood that he formed into daggers earlier, Choso moves them below his feet in order to propel him back onto the pillar. Upon arrival, he immediately fires Piercing Blood at Pseudo-Geto, who moves aside to reveal a cursed spirit that absorbs the blood beam and reflects it back. The two then engage each other in close-quarters combat, though Pseudo-Geto outclasses Choso by evading his attacks while landing strikes. As he kicks Choso in the chest, Pseudo-Geto uses the force to push himself off the pillar while suggesting Choso to not strain himself after fighting so much earlier. Choso doesn't consider being tired as a reason for not putting his life on the line to protect his younger brother and proceeds to jump after the curse user.
Overhearing their conversation, a confused Panda asks if Yuji is actually related to Choso. Yuji clarifies that they aren't and reveals that Choso nearly killed him earlier. Regardless of his relationship with Yuji, Noritoshi points out that Choso's interference has provided them with an opportunity to attack Pseudo-Geto and retrieve the Prison Realm. With two cores remaining, Panda leads the charge while the other sorcerers follow his lead. Suddenly, Uraume activates their innate technique: Ice Formation and uses Frost Calm to release an icy mist that instantly freezes Choso, Noritoshi, Panda, and Kusakabe in blocks of ice.
Pseudo-Geto asks Uraume to not to kill the sorcerers because he needs messengers. The curse user heals their hand using a reverse cursed technique while expressing their discontent, surprising Kusakabe with the feat. Choso tries to melt the ice by activating Flowing Red Scale and raising his body temperature, but is stopped by Uraume who threatens to freeze him in more ice. Yuji suddenly appears and drop kicks Choso out of the ice to save him, having been frozen less extensively than the rest. An irritated Uraume reminds Yuji that his body belongs to Sukuna.
Yuji asks Choso if he is an ally to the jujutsu sorcerers, which the latter denies while insisting that he is Yuji's older brother and asks him to call him "big brother", much to Yuji's annoyance. Momo flies down on her broom and uses it to launch Wind Scythe at the two curse users, though the wind blade is easily deflected by Uraume. The Kyoto third-year then informs Yuji and Choso that they are the only ones still mobile and asks them to help buy time for Utahime. Believing that Yuji alone can serve as a messenger, Uraume uses Icefall to create a stream of icicles that freeze the three before raining down on them from above, seemingly about to kill them before they are abruptly rescued by Yuki Tsukumo. Accompanied by her shikigami, the special grade sorcerer asks a surprised Pseudo-Geto what kind of girls is he into.
