Plot Details
Somewhere in the hot springs of a forested area, Jogo relaxes, smoking a pipe. His peaceful moment is soon interrupted by Geto and Mahito. Excited, Mahito disrobes and jumps into the spring, expressing how glad he is that Jogo's body has grown back. Jogo notices Mahito is in rough shape and he explains that things didn't go well between him and Sukuna's vessel. Mahito asks if it would have been better to take a hostage but Geto reveals the Binding Vows must be entered willingly. Additionally Sukuna would never work with him regardless due to his personality.
Mahito recognizes that Sukuna is extremely valuable and they should focus on winning him over by offering the fingers. Even if they're not standing with him when it happens, a world controlled by curses is ensured if Sukuna rises to power. Jogo and Mahito are even willing to sacrifice themselves to do so. Geto informs them that his plan is to take back the six fingers stored at Jujutsu High. Jogo doesn't understand why, so Geto explains that Jujutsu High's actions surrounding Yuji are too dangerous. Instead, he allowed Jujutsu High to take the fingers they had in their possession to initiate a plan to take them back.
Elsewhere, Gojo annoys Nanami in one of their normal interactions. Nanami asks him to keep up his upbeat attitude for Yuji's sake. Even Gojo didn't think the mission would be so tough, and it isn't what he meant by hard missions for training. Nanami didn't tell Yuji about the finger that lead to Junpei's mother's death, satisfying Gojo. But he submitted it to the higher-ups, arguing that Gojo would just give it to Yuji straight away. In the next question, he asks Gojo if it's okay for Yuji to return, but the former suggests Nanami should know better than anyone that he'll be fine.
Yuji suddenly appears, excited to return to school, meet the second-years as well as the Kyoto students and reunite with his friends. Yuji and Gojo plan on making a surprise to get positive reactions out of everyone, but Nanami thinks him returning is surprising enough. Meanwhile, Nobara meets with Megumi and the second-years, confused as to why they aren't packed for Kyoto. Panda explains that the Goodwill Event is with Kyoto not in Kyoto. It's held at the school of the previous winners and Yuta Okkotsu dominated last year, so this one takes place in Tokyo.
Shortly after, the Kyoto jujutsu students arrive for the event. Nobara demands they hand over souvenirs, scaring Momo. Mechamaru suggests the two first-years won't be able to keep up but Noritoshi Kamo believes Megumi Fushiguro is the most talented sorcerer in the Zenin Family. Utahime, the Kyoto school student counselor arrives as well looking for the "idiot" Gojo. He gets there late as usual and hands out souvenirs to all Kyoto students. As for the Tokyo students, he reveals that Yuji is alive with a special surprise. However, Megumi and Nobara are horrified, expressing the complete opposite reaction of what Yuji was expecting. They don't seem happy at all, crushing him emotionally. The Kyoto students aren't even paying Yuji any attention. Principal Yoshinobu Gakuganji is also surprised to see him, so Gojo takes the chance to taunt him about it, angering the old man.
Upset with Yuji for keeping quiet for two months, Nobara demands answers. He apologizes and officially rejoins his class. While punishing Gojo, Principal Masamichi Yaga explains the rules of the Team Battle: Spirit Bash Race! The first team to exorcise the grade 2 curse lurking around the battlefield wins. It's also populated with many grade 3 and lower curses. If the grade 2 isn't exorcised by sunset, the team with the most exorcisms will win.
In the Tokyo Team meeting, Nobara punishes Yuji. Panda and Toge tell her it's not necessary, confusing Yuji with their respective quirks. Megumi explains that Toge's power allows him to empower his words with cursed energy to increase the compulsion of his commands. Maki asks Yuji to give her Slaughter Demon back, but he broke it, so he lies out of fear and says Gojo still has it. She moves on to strategize and asks how to implement Yuji. Megumi reveals that if a brawl came down to a fight without cursed energy, Yuji would win.
In the Kyoto Team meeting, the principal demands that his students exorcise the curse that is Yuji. He instructs them to kill him with cursed energy so he can't be revived this time. Annoyed, Aoi Todo storms out and the principal leaves as well. Momo and Kasumi aren't sure about killing Yuji but Noritoshi states that they will all attack him together. At the same time, Gojo meets with Utahime about a potential mole within the school working with curse users and curses.
Before the event begins, Megumi confronts Yuji. He can tell something happened and gets Yuji to admit that he lost someone. But he's okay and says he doesn't want to lose, something Megumi agrees with. Fired up for the event, the Tokyo Team heads to the battlefield with Yuji out front. However, Maki doesn't appreciate him taking the lead and kicks him aside.
Juju Stroll
Takada-chan stands in front of a camera and introduces a long standing sushi shop. In the background, a man tells a woman that she should do what Takada is doing, and the woman replies that he would be mad at her if she did. Inside the sushi shop, Takada orders Goatfish and room temperature sake. She and another man interviews the sushi chef, and through their interaction the former man questions Takada's age and sobriety.
The scene cuts to Aoi watching all of this on his tv. Aoi comments that Takada is drunk, and says "That's my Takada-chan" like a healthy fan does. Yuji and Gojo walk past Aoi, and Yuji tells Gojo that OPP stands for "Ocean Pacific Peace."
