Plot Details

At Tsumiki's grave, Megumi thanks Shoko for preparing his sister's body. Shoko is happy that she was able to make Tsumiki look good for in the next life, before expressing her regret for not handling Geto's body and disbelief in the afterlife. As they leave the cemetery, Megumi receives a phone call and leaves while Shoko stays behind, who looks at her cigarette before throwing it in the trash.

At the Holy Mountain of Hida, Gakuganji explains that Sukuna's remains which were stripped from Megumi had Tengen's absorbed vestiges. By placing them in the Holy Mountain, Tengen's barriers in Japan can be maintained for a while. Utahime, who is with Akari, proposes that they think of countermeasures and contingencies soon, though the Kyoto Jujutsu High principal tells her that there is no need to rush, placing his trust in the younger generation. Elsewhere, Noritoshi returns to Japan with his mother and her family.

Meanwhile, Maki gives Daido a katana cursed tool, causing the man to burst into tears. Maki explains to him and Miyo that the Culling Game has lost its purpose, and the sorcerers plan to have Yuji and Hana strip cursed objects from the incarnated players and recover players abducted by the American military. Maki subtly tells the two incarnated men to hide in Tokyo since the capital is still declared off-limits and has a gathering of cursed spirits. While Daido is glad that he could practice his blade, Miyo is discontent since he finds wrestling with curses boring. As they go their separate ways, Daido asks Maki to fight him when his time comes, to which she agrees.

In a small apartment somewhere else, Charles Bernard starts drawing his manga while the Shueisha employee he injured supervises him. The two discuss printed manga, with Charles admitting that he is not as good at drawing as he thought. He then gets angry when his supervisor demands that he hurry before the print shops close. In a cafe elsewhere, Takaba tells his new comedy partner that they should limit their dirty jokes to potty jokes rather than sex jokes. His partner considers them the same, much to Takaba's frustration. As they leave, his partner mentions how Takaba's comment on rehearsing can be interpreted as a sexual innuendo.

Returning to Sendai, Amai reunites with the student he and his group bullied and apologizes for his actions. When he looks up, the young man has ran away, causing Amai to reflect that he needs to improve his own behavior. Meanwhile, Higuruma returns to his office and meets with his former associates. Shimizu comments that no charges were pressed on Higuruma for his murders, leading him to believe that Jujutsu Headquarters applied pressure since they wanted him to work as a sorcerer. As the lawyer representing the surviving families of those he killed, Shimizu declares she will request a retrial and prosecute Higuruma, which he looks forward to.

At Tokyo Jujutsu High, the Angel comments that Sukuna's deception against Hana during their battle means that Megumi's memories of Hana were restored. Nonetheless, Hana remains embarrassed when she encounters Megumi in a hallway. Remembering the damage Sukuna did and feeling responsible, Megumi swears to be Hana's right arm henceforth, causing the girl to misinterpret his words as a marriage proposal. Flustered, Megumi stutters out that he has a mission so they will have to talk later.

According to Ijichi's report, two weeks ago, a woman returns to her apartment and finds her fiancée's eyes to be abnormally large, leading to the first-years' mission. Meeting the victim, the first-years find that the man appears to be completely normal. His fiancée wonders if she is the one who's cursed, leading Nobara to examine her. Meanwhile, Yuji and Megumi speculate on the nature of the culprit, with Megumi believing it to be the work of a curse user, specifically an awakened player of the Culling Game. Yuji believes they can make short work of the curse user.
