Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown, Part 33 (
Summary
With Todo by his side, Yuji forces Sukuna's back against the wall, and yet... can it be?! Sukuna locks eyes with the ghost of the strongest man he slayed with his own hands. In the absence of Satoru Gojo, someone else had to step up and become the monster.
Plot Details
Remembering Choso, a furious Yuji roars as he digs his hand into Sukuna's chest and tries to crush his heart. In response, the King of Curses attempts to use his domain expansion, but suddenly stops as he senses someone in the smoke nearby. Sukuna is utterly baffled as he sees Satoru Gojo walk through the smoke, but upon seeing the stitches across his forehead, Sukuna realizes what has been done. Punching Yuji aside, the King of Curses commends Yuta Okkotsu for doing the unthinkable in order to defeat him.
When Yuta proposed the plan to transplant his brain into Gojo's body after he is defeated using Kenjaku's technique, it was met with rejections. Maki Zenin worried about the consequences of Rika's full manifestation reaching its time limit while Yuta's brain was transplanted, to which Mei Mei hypothesized three possibilities, all of which would result in Yuta's death or him being forever trapped in Gojo's body. Yuta agreed with Kinji Hakari that his idea would be their last resort, as he will try to defeat Sukuna in his domain first and only take Gojo's body if he fails.
Nonetheless, the other sorcerers remained opposed to the plan, with Atsuya Kusakabe finding it unethical. Angered, Yuta argued that unethical tactics were necessary to take down Sukuna and found it hypocritical that the sorcerers had no issue with Gojo being a "monster". He then declared that he will inherit his teacher's legacy as the "monster" if no one else would.
Some time later, Yuta informed Gojo of his plan while they and the other second-years were walking through a hallway at the Jujutsu Headquarters. Gojo agreed to the plan, though slightly annoyed that Shoko Ieiri had no qualms with it. Yuta then mentioned Takako Uro's comment about him being descended from the Fujiwara Clan and wondered if she was correct since Gojo stated he was descended from the Sugawara Clan instead. Gojo insisted that he was the latter, but speculated that Uro could be correct if Yuta was born from a higher family. He then lectured Yuta on his cursed energy control before telling his students to leave when they arrived at a room, as he was about to kill the higher-ups inside. However, the three students refused, not wanting their sensei to be a monster alone.
At some point in time, Rin Amai demonstrated his innate technique that allowed him to manifest the sugar in his own body externally in the form of pudding. Seeing this, Shoko asked him to join the medical team with her and Arata Nitta so he could help infuse Yuta's brain with sugar when he needed to activate his cursed technique. Immediately after Yuta was lethally injured by Sukuna and transported to the medical ward, Shoko was suturing Gojo's body while Arata used his cursed technique to alleviate his condition. Due to Rika, Yuta was still conscious but was reaching his limit, so he asked Shoko to help him transplant his brain. Finishing her suture, Shoko advised Yuta to activate reverse cursed technique at maximum output after transferring his brain to finish the treatment. Yuta then apologized to Rika for wearing his ring on his right hand.
In the present, Yuta and Sukuna simultaneously activate their domain expansions. Armed with the answer to Sukuna's open-barrier domain that his teacher left behind, Yuta unleashes Unlimited Void and clashes it with Malevolent Shrine, sounding the gong for the revenge match!

I realized that Abarerukun-san is left-handed. I like the episode where they’re in the mountain climbing club and have to poop. |
