Plot Details

Sukuna's Divine Flame in his domain

The secret art that destroyed Mahoraga devastates Shinjuku!

While training with Blood Manipulation, Yuji asked Choso how to perform Convergence. Choso was unable to properly explain the concept, annoying Yuji. Noritoshi Kamo chimed in and explained the basics of Blood Manipulation and the concept of Convergence using easily-understood comparisons. Frustrated that Yuji preferred Kamo's teaching over his own, Choso tried to teach his younger brother Supernova, only for Kamo to reject the proposal since Yuji didn't have enough time to learn advanced techniques.

In the present, it is revealed that through a binding vow and altering the specifications of his domain's barrier, Sukuna's Divine Flame can trigger widespread thermobaric explosions throughout his domain as an ultimate technique to kill all living things within it. As Sukuna unleashes the flaming arrow, Uraume declares that the jujutsu sorcerers have lost while Kinji Hakari watches with concern. A tremendous pillar of flames subsequently erupts in Shinjuku, further obliterating the area.

In the darkness, Yuji sees a charred Choso standing before him. As he begins to crumble into pieces, Choso apologizes for not being a good teacher. Sitting at the picnic table in his false memories, Choso praises Yuji for learning reverse cursed technique faster than him, though the latter attributes it to Sukuna's influence rather than his own talent. Choso apologizes for leaving Yuji alone again, only for Yuji to assert that Choso has done more than enough by standing by his side during the hardest times. In reality, a disfigured Choso thanks Yuji for being his little brother, while Yuji returns the thanks and finally calls Choso his big brother.

The dome of blood that protected Yuji from Sukuna's Divine Flame subsequently collapses as Choso dies. Looking at the smoke-filled scorched earth around him, Yuji's resolve to fulfil his role and avenge his fallen brother begins to waver. Sukuna steps through the smoke and appears before the boy. At the same time, another figure walks through the smoke, surprising Yuji when they are revealed to be Aoi Todo with his left hand wrapped in bandages.

Some time before December 24th, Mei Mei and Todo secretly met to discuss how to save the people trapped within Sukuna's domain. Todo proposed using his technique to swap the sorcerers inside the domain with Mei Mei's crows that are outside it. Mei Mei agreed with the idea but wondered if Todo was capable of expanding his cursed technique's range that far and target multiple people at once without his left hand. Todo was uncertain but believed he could feel the beat of Boogie Woogie. He then asked Mei Mei to not tell Yuji his plan, as Yuji's resonance with Sukuna after serving as his vessel may cause him to unconsciously leak information to Sukuna. He also asked Mei Mei to keep his plan to adjust his cursed technique with Yuta Okkotsu a secret until the plan to take down Kenjaku begins.

Back to the present, Todo apologizes for not being able to tell Yuji about his plans or the safety of his allies, but assures him that everyone else is most likely safe. Yuji believes him and reignites his will to fight Sukuna, while Todo walks with him and begins to rip off his bandages. The two "brothers" stand ready against the King of Curses, who is unable to use cursed technique now that his domain ended.

I changed the years at Jujutsu High from five to four in the past, but I got confused and thought I’d changed it from five to three.
