Summary
Satoru Gojo finally gains the advantage after a series of domain clashes. His allies continue to watch, now hopeful that victory is at hand. However, even after being bathed in Satoru's Unlimited Void, Sukuna still has a trump card in the Ten Shadows Technique.
Plot Details
"If he can destroy Malevolent Shrine in three minutes or less... Gojo wins."
Despite the momentum shift in the battle, Yuta notices Gojo's nosebleed and is still slightly concerned for his sensei. In contrast, Gojo is completely unphased as he wipes the blood away from his nose and once again expands his domain at the same time as Sukuna. The simultaneous expansion of the domains confirms the Angel's theory that Sukuna can restore his exhausted innate technique with reverse cursed technique after seeing Gojo do it. Hana comments on whether or not Sukuna was always capable and then someone else jokes about the sheer amount of times the group has said "cursed technique" during the fight.
Anxious, Kusakabe says that Gojo needs to destroy Sukuna's domain within three minutes but Shoko argues against his pessimistic tone. She points out that Unlimited Void only needs a second to incapacitate Sukuna and confidently states that as long as Gojo damages Sukuna enough within three minutes, he will win.
Gojo proves to be the stronger fighter when sure-hit effects aren't involved.
Gojo ramps up his cursed energy reinforcement and the two strongest sorcerers clash inside the domains. They break each other's domains at the same time and everyone comments on how close the fight is. Miwa emphasizes that this result likely means that Gojo is the superior fighter within the domains and Yuji is confident his sensei can achieve victory. Gojo sends Sukuna flying back with a strong left hook and then immediately expands his domain. Sukuna opens his domain as well but Yuta and Higuruma both notice that it was just slightly after Gojo. The difference is less than 0.01 seconds but Unlimited Void hits and staggers Sukuna for just a moment. Gojo seizes the opportunity and crushes Sukuna's heart with a powerful thrust straight into his chest.
Mahoraga rescues Sukuna from Unlimited Void.
Gojo and Sukuna continue fighting within the domain but Malevolent Shrine collapses after two minutes and forty seconds. Unlimited Void wins the domain clash and Sukuna is completely caught within the Limitless and stunned in place. Not satisfied with crushing his opponent's heart, Gojo plans on destroying his lungs and liver as well to bring Sukuna closer to death than Yuji was at the detention center.
As Gojo rushes to finish the fight, Mahoraga is suddenly summoned within the domain to protect Sukuna. Surprised, Gojo doesn't understand the timing of this summoning when Mahoraga hasn't even had time to adapt. Gojo attempts to destroy the shikigami in one shot using Cursed Technique Reversal: Red. However, Mahoraga stabs the Sword of Extermination into the ground and shatters the domain completely. Even more shocked than before, Gojo doesn't understand how Mahoraga has already managed to adapt to Unlimited Void.
