Summary
As the battle of the strongest wreaks havoc on Shinjuku, Satoru's allies observe the battle and comment on every possible outcome. However, even they can't predict the unexpected result of a clash of their domains.
Plot Details
Sorcerers affiliated with Jujutsu High and company are gathered together around a pillar of television monitors and speakers to watch Mei Mei's stream of the fight between Satoru Gojo and Sukuna.
Everyone learns Sukuna can expand a domain without closing the barrier, which should be impossible.
After watching the early stages of the battle, they discuss Sukuna's usage of domain amplification and its ability to use it to bypass Gojo's Infinity. The Angel even believes Sukuna will win if he finds another method to bypass Infinity other than amplification.
Curious as to why neither sorcerer has expanded their domain, the group also theorizes on the possible outcome of a domain clash between the two. This leads Choso to reveal that Sukuna can expand his domain without enclosing the barrier. This surprises many of the sorcerers, who believe something like that should be impossible. Kusakabe uses several examples to explain how absurd an achievement that is, including attempting to hold water without a vessel or painting a picture without a canvas.

Choso also reveals that Kenjaku also achieved a similar feat during his fight with Yuki Tsukumo. Mei Mei believes that if Yuki had expanded her domain, it would've resulted in a clash of guaranteed hits within her barrier, a more favorable outcome than resisting with simple domain. Ino points out how casually they're discussing domain and believes that repeatedly expanding a domain could even deplete Gojo's cursed energy. Inumaki and Yuta disagree, believing that Gojo's cursed energy efficiency would never allow him to run out.
With Unlimited Void shattered, Sukuna's savage blade reaches Gojo!
Hajime Kashimo is frustrated by Sukuna's strength and his ability to swap between amplification and an innate technique, comparing him to a god. He believes Sukuna would best Gojo in efficiency if it wasn't for the Six Eyes. Yuta adds that Sukuna has twice as much cursed energy overall than even himself, meaning a lack of cursed energy isn't the reason they haven't opened their domains yet.
As Higuruma comments that the clash is about to begin, Gojo and Sukuna expand their domains at the same time. Unlimited Void and Malevolent Shrine are equally refined, leading to overlapping guaranteed hits within Gojo's barrier. The can't-miss attack will only strike if one of the fighters takes heavy damage and can no longer maintain their domain. However, outside the barrier is a different situation entirely. The effective range of Malevolent Shrine extends outside Gojo's barrier, allowing Sukuna to rip it apart from the outside. Gojo's barrier shatters from the barrage of slashing attacks and his neck is immediately slashed by Sukuna's cursed technique.
