Plot Details
Yorozu's first attempt to quell Sukuna's lonliness a thousand years ago.
One thousand years ago during the Heian era, Sukuna was not only invited to the Harvest Festival, but featured as an idol to be worshipped. Everyone in the capital was well aware of Sukuna's feats, having decimated the Sun, Moon and Stars Squad and the Five Empty Generals. Yorozu bested the Five Empty Generals as well and earned a place in the Fujiwara clan. At this time, local nobles felt as if the capital was falling to the savages.
Yorozu's servent, who struggles to direct her in any way, eventually made Yorozu aware of the Harvest Festival. Yorozu decided to attend only for a select food that her servant tried to warn her wouldn't be there. She was mesmerized upon laying eyes on Sukuna. She instantly felt his solitude and ran up to him. She wrapped her arms around Sukuna and embraced him, shaming everyone for not making sure he din't feel alone. Uraume forced Yorozu back and Sukuna cut her as well. She collapsed from her wounds despite her confident attitude but remained determined to keep Sukuna company in order to take in his loneliness all for herself.
Mahoraga destroys Yorozu's True Sphere.
In the modern day, Yorozu retains that same desire, to be the one who kills Sukuna. Using the pinnacle of her Construction, Yorozu creates a True Sphere. This is a shape thought to be impossible with no point of contact and thus untouchable due to the infinite pressure created along the surface. Then she uses Domain Expansion: Threefold Affliction to ensure it hits.
Megumi's soul drowned within Sukuna.
However, Sukuna doesn't open his domain in response. Instead, Mahoraga's wheel turns on his head, having completed its adaptation. Yorozu is confused as to why Sukuna hasn't opened his domain because he should know that if she activates her technique then she wins. Sukuna drops the wheel into his shadow, summoning Mahoraga to switch places with him.
Mahoraga destroys the True Sphere with a single stab from its Sword of Extermination. Yorozu is shocked that it destroyed her attack and then the shikigami strikes her down next. Yorozu's domain crumbles and she lies defeated with Sukuna standing over her. Sukuna explains that he adapted to the liquid metal that she uses to construct her insect armor and the perfect sphere. Yorozu is glad Sukuna knows so much about her tactics and is brought to tears. Sukuna isn't amused but Yorozu leaves him with one last gift from Construction at the end of her life.
Yorozu and by association, Tsumiki Fushiguro is killed. Megumi's soul weeps in the depths of darkness, fully immersed within Sukuna.
