Summary
Victorious, Maki regroups with Noritoshi and offers him advice on his similar family situation. Meanwhile, in the Tokyo No. 1 Colony, strange alliances are formed when Megumi wakes up two days later.
Plot Details
Able to relate to Noritoshi, Maki offers him advice.
Following her victory over Naoya, Maki goes back to check on Noritoshi. He's lying on the ground injured but he's alive and still conscious. Noritoshi asks Maki if she won and she gives the credit to the others for the win. Noritoshi asks about their condition and Maki tells him that they're in bad shape same as him.
Maki points out that Noritoshi has been acting differently and he reveals that he feels unimportant due to his ousting from the Kamo clan as well as his relationship with his mother. Maki urges Noritoshi to speak with his mother again and reveals that she killed hers before they had a chance to properly talk. She tells Noritoshi not to make the same mistake as she helps him walk to safety.
Elsewhere, Noritoshi's mother tells her family about him. She gave Noritoshi a forbidden name because she hoped it would lead him back to her. Her younger child asks if Noritoshi is nice and the mother assures them that he is so simply because he is her son.
"Did you sleep well... Destined One?"
In the Tokyo No. 1 Colony, Hana Kurusu greets Megumi after he awakens from sleeping for two days. Yuji and Takaba greet him as well. Takaba is able to bring back goods from the store because the electrical grid in the city is still functional. Megumi uses the bathroom and bathes before learning how Yuji met up with Hana and Takaba. Yuji happened upon Takaba's explosive fight with Hazenoki and they worked together to locate Megumi. They found Megumi being carried away by Hana while he was unconscious. Megumi questions the caution of everyone involved and then rectifies his statement to thank everyone for helping him.
Yuji shows Megumi that with their allies' help, their group has accumulated 359 points in total, more than enough to rescue Tsumiki. Megumi asks permission to use Hana and Takaba's points before moving on to more questions. He tells Hana they've been looking for the Angel, who was supposed to be in the Tokyo No. 2 Colony. He asks if Hana is the Angel and why a rival player would help him. Someone answers that they're the Angel, but it's not exactly Hana.
The Angel revealed!
A mouth grows on Hana's cheek and speaks, telling Megumi not to pester a girl with so many questions. Megumi and Takaba are surprised but Yuji simply notes that Hana is similar to himself. The Angel almost reveals why Hana helped Megumi but the girl covers the mouth before they get the chance. The mouth reappears on Hana's hand and reveals their innate technique, Technique Extinguishment, can negate barriers. This allowed Hana to leave the No. 2 colony because most of the players there were already wiped out by Hajime Kashimo. Megumi asks why the Angel is looking for players and they reveal all incarnated players are their targets for elimination. The Angel believes incarnation is wrong because they suppress the vessel's consciousness and has decided to exist symbiotically with Hana.
Sukuna reveals himself as the "Disgraced One".
Megumi asks the Angel if their ability to negate techniques can revert possessed players to normal. The simple answer is no, as the Angel explains the process is more likely to kill the person than save them because the cursed object has fused with their body. The Angel asks if this is what the boys sought them out for but Megumi clarifies that they need the Angel to remove the seal on Prison Realm. The Angel claims this should be within their capabilities, much to the delight of Yuji and Megumi. Megumi pauses for a moment and thinks over how things are moving along too smoothly.
The Angel proposes that they help Megumi and Yuji in return for an initial favor. Megumi asks if the Angel wants them to help slay all the incarnated players but the Angel only wants one eliminated, the Disgraced One. At that moment, Sukuna pulls Yuji's consciousness into his innate domain and reveals that he is the Disgraced One.
