Summary
Sumo wrestling with Miyo has changed Maki in unexpected ways. With aid from the wrestler and the samurai, Maki reaches even further heights and effortlessly turns the tide of battle back against Naoya.
Plot Details
Daido and Miyo agree who they are doesn't matter.
Noritoshi and Daido note Maki's intense change despite such a short time in the domain. Time flows faster within Miyo's barrier due to forgoing any binding bows. One thousand sumo bouts took less than one minute outside the barrier.
Naoya doesn't care about Maki's change and flies off to build up speed for another head-on attack. Miyo and Daido ready themselves for a fight and Noritoshi asks who they are and why they're helping. They claim they're individuals who do as they want and their identities are of little importance. Maki gets ahead of them and pursues Noaya, who's frustrated that he can't outpace her completely.

Maki and Naoya zoom through the city and Maki is able to predict how Naoya will move by seeing everything around her. Maki now knows that she's capable of seeing something only "that person" could before her. She believes he could have destroyed Naoya's cursed womb and would've withstood his full-speed attack.
"The one who stands with them is me!!!!"
Naoya attempts to tackle Maki in mid-air but she easily avoids it, confusing him. She can use the differences in temperature and air density as scattered surfaces to move without solid footing. Maki punches Naoya down to the ground and he taunts her by inviting her to continue hitting him without cursed energy. Suddenly, Miyo headbutts Naoya and Daido bisects him with another powerful slash. Maki kick the top half of Naoya's body off before he can heal. Irate, Naoya repeats that this is impossible and he becomes increasingly frustrated as Maki continues to resemble Toji.
Driven by his hatred and rejection, Naoya makes his human form appear from the cursed spirit body. His hands appear from the bottom half of the body and pulls out a replica of his human upper half. He once again proclaims the one who stands with Satoru and Toji is himself and casts domain expansion.
